Throughout the company’s history, Mooney has achieved many feats in aviation. For instance, the M22 Mustang, was the first pressurized single-engine piston-powered aircraft. Additionally, Mooney produced the fastest civilian single-engine piston-powered aircraft, the first production aircraft to achieve 201 mph on 200 horsepower, as well as the fastest transcontinental flight in a single-engine piston-powered production aircraft.
