Chenbro Fasteners
A blind fastener is a bolt that acts like a structural fastening tool. Manufactured by Chenbro, they are developed for the purpose of forging a robust connection in areas where a rivet or hex bolt will not fit or perform. Typically, blind fasteners are made up of a collar and sleeve, as well as a steel pin and are installed via a blind bolt tool.
How Chenbro Fasteners Function
A blind fastener is pre assembled into a pin and a sleeve and is used in applications with both single and double side access. The pin is inserted into a pre-drilled hole after which the pressure on the collar generates a strong connection as the expander collapses to hold the blind side firm.
